Please read the following before submitting to our contest to ensure your photos are eligible to win.

Eligibility

ArborOne Farm Credit, ACA (“ArborOne”) customers, their friends, and families are eligible to enter. ArborOne employees, vendors, agents and their families may enter and have a photo chosen for the calendar, but are excluded from winning any prize money.

All photos must have been taken in the ArborOne service territory, which includes 12 counties in the Pee Dee region of South Carolina. Photos may be submitted beginning June 1, 2021. All entries must be received by midnight on July 31, 2021. Visit Arborone.com/contact-us to see a territory map.

Calendar Photos

We are looking for images that include anything related to farming, ranching, or a rural lifestyle for use in our 2021 ArborOne Photo Calendar. Photo opportunities might include farm families and kids, crops, livestock, wildlife, visits to county fairs, tractors and equipment.

Visit Arborone.com and click on the photo contest button. This will take you to a website where you may submit your photos. Entries must be received by midnight on July 31, 2021.

Any and all photos submitted will become the property of ArborOne Farm Credit and may be used by ArborOne. The requested submission information located on our website must be completed in full and submitted with each photograph that you wish to enter. The link is Arborone.com/photo-contest You must include the county where the photo was taken and the title of the photo. No more than three (3) entries per person or email address will be accepted.

Voting

ArborOne employees will choose a selection of photos from among the entrants that they determine to be the best representation of agriculture and rural living in our territory. These photos will be placed on our site for voting.

Once voting opens on August 1, 2021, you may vote once a day via the website until the voting period expires on August 30, 2021. After voting has processed, the top three (3) photos selected by voters via the website will be announced on our website and social media. The top three (3) will receive prizes as stated below. We encourage you to get your friends and families to vote for your photo!

Winning Photos

Winning entries will be featured in the 2022 ArborOne Farm Credit calendar. Additionally, the photos may be included on our Facebook page and may be used in other forms of print or social media, including but not limited to advertisements.

Twelve (12) photos will be selected and featured in the 2022 calendar. Additional photos may also be included.

Prizes are as follows:

• 1^st place - $150 Gift Card
• 2^nd place - $100 Gift Card
• 3^rd place - $50 Gift Card

Image Requirements

All photos must be submitted online with the required entry form. Photographs must be in digital format and no print or film submissions will be accepted for entry into this Contest.

Please follow these requirements for all photos:

• Must be digital images
• JPEG (.jpg) format
• At least 1MB but not larger than 20MB
• At least 6MP (3000x2000 pixels)
• Landscape (horizontal) format
• Title must contain only letters and characters—no punctuation or symbols
• Name your photo something short, descriptive, and memorable—we will use it as the caption, if chosen

Photos must have been taken within two (2) years of the date of entry and may not have previously won an award in any ArborOne contest. Photos containing sculptures, statues, paintings, and other works of art will be accepted as long as they don't constitute copyright infringement or fraud, and entrants must be prepared to provide a release form.

**ArborOne reserves the right to exclude any and all photos that do not meet the requirements of the contest without notice.**

Releases

If a photograph contains any material or elements that are not owned by the entrant and/or which are subject to the rights of third parties, and/or if any persons appear in the photograph, the entrant is responsible for obtaining, prior to submission of the photograph, any and all releases and consents necessary to permit the exhibition and use of the photograph in the manner set forth in these Contest Guidelines without additional compensation. If any person appearing in any photograph is under the age of majority in their state of residence, the signature of a parent or legal guardian is required on each release.

Each entrant may be requested to provide a signed release from all persons who appear in the photograph submitted, and/or from the owner of any material that appears in the photograph entry, authorizing ArborOne to reproduce, distribute, display, and create derivative works of the entry in connection with the Contest and promotion of the Contest, in any media now or hereafter known. Failure to provide such releases upon request may result in disqualification at any time during the Contest.

License

By entering the Contest, all entrants grant an irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive license to ArborOne to reproduce, distribute, display and create derivative works of the entries in connection with the Contest and promotion of the Contest, in any media now or hereafter known. ArborOne will not be required to pay any additional consideration or seek any additional approval in connection with such use.

Right to Cancel or Suspend

If for any reason the Contest is not capable of running as planned, due to infection by computer virus, bugs, worms, denial of service attacks, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of ArborOne that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Contest, ArborOne reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual(s) who tamper with the entry process, and/or to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Contest. If ArborOne elects to cancel or terminate the Contest, it will not retain any rights in the submitted photographs.
