NOVEMBER FEATURED ARTIST: Sasha Waters Freyer
Learning from failures, mistakes, happy and unhappy accidents is key in art, as in life. This image is made from a bleached, scratched, acid-tortured film strip of flowers from 1928. A “teachable moment” can happen anywhere – a casual moment or a leap into the unknown – if you remain open to experience and the joy of catastrophe.
Featured Artist: Sasha Waters Freyer, Chair of the VCU Photography and Film Department
