Join us for something slightly different this June, and let us whisk you back to a time when the music not only had a beat but words you could follow, where gentlemen asked ladies to dance and everyone was back home before it was dark. This year we have invited the D Day Darlings to take us back to the 1940's and sing some of the famous wartime songs that make us all feel warm and wanted.

Bringing the true spirit of the wartime era alive, the D-Day Darlings sing the heartfelt harmonies that kept Britain smiling through its darkest days with popular WW2 songs such as We'll Meet Again, I'll Be Seeing You, Land of Hope and Glory, and Bless Em’ All.

Wearing original WRAF uniforms, the delightful trio will take you on a nostalgic journey into the heart of an era where troops were being serenaded by the likes of ‘Dame Vera Lynn’ and ‘The Andrews Sisters’.

Be sure to have your flags at the ready as The D-Day Darlings get you singing and swaying along to memorable wartime songs, giving you an uplifting experience of the 1940s.

The afternoon will start at 2:30pm with the Darlings first 30 minutes whilst you warm up with a summer Pimms followed by a Traditional Afternoon tea served at 3:15pm.

After tea, the girls will be back with two further sets to finish off the afternoon. Everything will be finished by 5:00pm, in time for the last bus home!
