This exciting competition is open to everyone who has a passion for building, construction, design, fit-out, interiors and more. We would like everybody to participate and enter, especially schools and colleges. It is open to children, young adults, men, women, trades-people, apprentices and general public, you can enter anything as long as it’s connected with the Built Environment. We want you to be as creative as possible, whether it’s a model, a physical structure, building, drawing or even a digital design using software. You are free to use any material for your build.
There are three age group category contests available for entry with one fabulous prize to be won for each contest. You can only enter your particular age category contest:
We are encouraging schools and colleges to enter and participate in the competition and we will give a special prize for the most engaged school or college that submits the most entries.
You will be able to vote for your favourite entry in each age category when the public voting opens on 18 September until 9pm 23 September. Get your family, friends, school or college and community to vote for your entry to be in with a chance to be selected as a #iBuiltThis2019 finalist.
The entries with the most public votes will be selected as finalists and will be forwarded to our independent judging panel who will select the winners in each category. So please come back when the public voting system opens.
The #iBuiltThis2019 winners will be announced by Architect George Clarke at the #iBuiltThis2019 Awards ceremony taking place at UK Construction Week Exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham on Tuesday 8 October 2019 where the winners and finalists will be invited to attend.
