TRIBE Freedom Foundation supports the survivors of modern slavery and exploitation, working with frontline project partners to help survivors to overcome their previous experiences and regain their independence.
One area which resonates particularly strongly with us is the positive impact which can be gained through physical activity and outdoor adventure. There are many physical and psychological benefits to both. However, for the survivors we work with there are lots of barriers to getting out into nature such as lack of finances, appropriate equipment or clothing, confidence and knowledge.
We're working with The Helen Bamber Foundation to deliver a series of training walks building up to a Three Peak Challenge for female survivors of modern slavery later this year BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP!
We're looking for female volunteers to take on the following roles:
1. Qualified Mountain Leader
2. Training walk support team
Together, we go further and faster to end modern slavery.
