People get sick. They fall and get scraped, break bones and bruise. Sometimes you need medical care on weekends or at night.

But the sudden proliferation of freestanding ERs, which can look like traditional Urgent Cares but cost a lot more, has made getting that care a lot more confusing. And that confusion has left a large number of Colorado residents with shockingly high bills after going into what they thought was an urgent care only to find out later it was really an ER.

We want to know how much you've paid.

Fill out the form below to let us know which type of place you went into, the services you received, and what it cost.

We'll use the information to compare what it is really costing people to go to a freestanding ER versus an urgent care center.

Chris Vanderveen's investigation into the confusion and the huge bills some residents are being stuck with will air Thursday on 9NEWS at 9 and 10.
