Entry

Enter the drawing by submitting your child’s story for a chance to win a Seattle Storm Honorary Captain experience. The experience includes your eligible child going courtside during the pregame to meet the team captains and refs, receive an autographed mini-ball, four free tickets to the game and a $25 gift card.  Total prize valued at $500. Enter by submitting your child’s story in the entry form on the BECU Facebook Page (www.Facebook.com/BECU) from May 6, 2016 through September 2, 2016. No purchase necessary to win and a purchase will not increase odds of winning.  Cash will not be awarded in lieu of merchandise.  

Limitations

Only one entry per adult/child combination (entrants using multiple accounts to enter will be ineligible to win). Must be a legal resident of the United States, 18 years or older, and the parent or legal guardian must complete the online entry form as indicated above to enter. A parent or legal guardian must attend the experience with the child. Child must be between the ages of 6 and 13 to be eligible for the Honorary Captain experience. Employees or agents of BECU, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising/promotional agencies, vendors, and the members of their immediate families or those persons living in the same household of such individuals are ineligible to enter or win. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited by law.

Winners

Four winners will be randomly selected by a drawing on 5/16 for the 5/28 game from entries received 5/6 through 5/15. Four winners will be randomly selected by a drawing on 6/10 for the 6/24 game from entries received 5/16 through 6/9. Four winners will be randomly selected by a drawing on 6/27 for the 7/17 game from entries received 6/10 through 6/26. Four winners will be randomly selected by a drawing on 8/16 for the 8/31 game from entries received 6/27 through 8/15. Four winners will be randomly selected by a drawing on 9/1 for the 9/18 game from entries received 8/16 through 8/31. The Honorary Captain experience will be for the pre-determined Seattle Storm game from all entries received during each entry period. The parent or legal guardian will need to sign a liability release from with the Seattle Storm. Tickets are not transferrable. You need not be present to win. Odds of winning based on the number of entries received. The winner will be notified by e-mail or phone on the drawing day and will have 48 business hours to respond to the message. 

Should the winner fail to comply with these requirements or otherwise be unable to accept the prize, the winner will forfeit the prize and it will go to the first selected alternate. For a list of prize winners, mail a self-addressed stamped envelope to BECU, Attn: Molly Andrews, Events Development and PR Manager, P.O. Box 97050, M/S #1037-2, Seattle, WA 98124-9750. In the event of non-compliance with these requirements, winner may be disqualified and an alternate winner selected.

Conditions

By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of BECU, which shall be final and binding in all respects. By participating, entrants release BECU, it’s respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising/promotional agencies, vendors, and the employees, officers, directors and agents of any of the above organizations from any and all liability for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by participation in the drawing or the acceptance, possession or use/misuse of a prize or participation in any prize-related activities. Where legal, by accepting prize, winner grants permission to use the child’s name, likeness, child’s photograph and statements by BECU and the Seattle Storm for advertising/publicity purposes without further compensation.
