2020 CHRISTMAS CONTEST

Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY to enter this Contest or win a Prize.

SPONSOR, CONTEST PERIOD, RULES: “2020 Christmas” CONTEST 2020 (The “Contest”) is sponsored by Joytv (a division of ZoomerMedia Limited) (the “sponsor”). The Contest begins at 9:00 am (PST) on Dec 18, 2020 and ends at 11:59:59 PM (PST) on January 3, 2021 (the “Contest Period”). All times are Pacific Standard Time. These are the full and official rules of the Contest (the “Rules”)
ELIGIBILITY: The Contest is open to legal residents of Canada (other than the Province of Québec) who are of the age of majority in their province or territory of residence and who are not employees of the Sponsor, its affiliated companies or agents, or any third parties engaged by Sponsor to assist it in administering the Contest or a member of any such employee’s immediate family (regardless of where they live) or persons whom they are domiciled (whether related to the employee or not). In these Rules, “immediate family” includes mother, father, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, partner and/or spouse.
HOW TO ENTER: To enter the Contest, visit our www.joytv.ca/category/contests/ (the “Contest Site”)
Limit: One (1) entry per valid email address per day.
All contest entries must be received within the Contest Period.
In order to win a Prize, the selected entrant will first be required to correctly answer a time-limited skill-testing question.

Each Prize Package has an approximate retail value of $350
Second Grand Prize Package: 1 $50 GC for Water Street Cafe, 1 x 4 family pack Flyover Canada (2 Adult tickets, 2 Children), 1 x $50 gift certificate from Marquis Wine Cellars
Each Prize Package has an approximate retail value of $196
Third Grand Prize Package: $100 gift certificate from Papi's Seafood and Oyster House, 1 x 4 family pack Flyover Canada (2 Adult tickets, 2 Children)
Each Prize Package has an approximate retail value of $196
Fourth Prize Package: 1 x 4 family pack Flyover Canada (2 Adult tickets, 2 Children)
Each Prize Package has an approximate retail value of $96
All Prizes must be accepted as awarded without substitution and are not transferable, not for resale and have no cash surrender value. Once awarded to a Winner, the Sponsor shall have no liability whatsoever for the Prizes or the use of the Prizes.

PRIZE SELECTION:
There will be random draw conducted for the available prize packages from among all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. The draw will be conducted by the Sponsor and will be held on January 4, 2021 at Suite #204-5668 192 Street, Surrey, BC V3S 2P7. Joytv will select winner that have followed all entry rules.
Sponsor will attempt to contact each potential winner by email on January 4, 2021. If a potential winner (a) cannot be reached by email on the date of being selected; (b) fails to correctly answer the mathematical skill testing question (see below); or (c) fails to return the properly executed Release Form within the specified time (see below), then he/she will be disqualified and another potential winner will be selected from among the eligible Submissions until such time as a Winner is declared or there are no more eligible Submissions. The Sponsor will not be responsible for failed attempts to contact a potential winner.
To be declared a Prize winner, each potential winner must answer without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical or otherwise, a mathematical skill testing question posed by email or telephone and will be required to sign a Release Form confirming compliance with the Rules, acceptance of the Prize as awarded, and releasing the Sponsor (and its affiliated and related companies, advertising and promotional agencies, the parties engaged by Sponsor to assist it in administering the Contest and their respective shareholders, directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns) from any liability in connection with the Prize or this Contest. The Release Form must be returned within the time period specified on the Release Form or the Prize will be forfeited.
GENERAL:
By entering the Contest, entrants agree to abide by the Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, judges and any third parties engaged by Sponsor to assist it in administering the Contest with respect to all aspects of the Contest. All such decisions are final.
Odds of winning: The odds of winning a Prize depend upon the number of eligible entries received.
Prizes are not transferable and must be accepted as awarded with no substitutions in cash or otherwise. Prize will only be available to the verified winner - Winner with be emailed a release form with skill testing question, which must be returned to Joytv via email before the prize may be awarded.
This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and bylaws. Québec residents are not eligible to enter the Contest.The Sponsor and its agents accept no responsibility for loss, damage or claims caused by or resulting from the Contest or any Prize associated with this Contest.
The Sponsor and its agents will not be responsible for late, lost, or incomplete submissions; all such entries are void. The Sponsor and its agents will not be liable for any failure of the Contest Site or Facebook, do not assume any responsibility for incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information, technical malfunctions, human or technical error, printing errors, lost, delayed or garbled data or transmissions, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or failures of any telephone or computer lines or networks, computer equipment, software or any combination thereof. Entry material/data that have been tampered with or altered are void. In the event it is determined that an entrant has entered in a fashion not sanctioned by these Rules and/or has submitted more than the number of entries permitted by these Rules, the entrant will be disqualified and all of the entries submitted by the entrant will be disqualified. Sponsor reserves the right to void all votes made though any robotic, automatic, mechanical, programmed or similar entry duplication method.
The Sponsor reserves the right to terminate or amend this Contest at any time and in any way, without prior notice. Without limiting the foregoing, if, for any reason, the Contest is not capable of running as originally planned, as a result of tampering or infection by computer virus, the Sponsor reserves the right to cancel the Contest. The Sponsor shall not be held responsible for any problems, errors or negligence that may arise or occur in connection with the Contest, including, but not limited to, any damage to an entrant’s computer equipment, system, software or any combination thereof, as a result of the entrant’s participation in this Contest.
The Sponsor respects your right to privacy. Personal information collected from entrants will only be used by the Sponsor and its agents to administer the Contest. If consent is given at the time of entry, Sponsor may use personal information collected from entrants to provide entrants with information regarding upcoming promotions relating to Sponsor’s products and services, and/or events supported by Sponsor.
