Premio Foods Check-Out Hunger Contest: Official Rules

Purpose

The purpose of the Premio Foods Check-Out Hunger Contest is to reward Premio Foods’ fans and followers for helping to donate meals to the Community FoodBank of New Jersey through Premio Foods' Check-Out Hunger partnership.

Who can Enter?

You must be eighteen (18) years of age as of the starting date. You must be a legal resident of the fifty (50) United States, District of Columbia or Puerto Rico to enter. Anyone over the age of 18 may enter the Premio Foods Check-Out Hunger Contest, but only fans and followers of the Premio Foods Facebook and Instagram Pages are eligible to win the prize.

How to Participate

• "Like" Premio Foods on Facebook (facebook.com/premiofoods)
• Submit your name and email address to the contest entry form
• For a bonus entry:
  • Follow Premio Foods on Instagram (instagram.com/premiofoods)
  • Post a photo to Instagram of your family enjoying Premio sausages using the hashtag #PremioGivesBack
  • Tag @PremioFoods in the photo
  • Note: Premio will not be able to see your photo if your Instagram account is set to private.

Submission constitutes your agreement to the Contest Terms & Conditions below. Please read the Terms & Conditions below as they describe your rights to the submitted information, as well as ours.

Submission and Winning Restraints

Participants may submit an entry once every four hours and may win a maximum of 1 time per year.

Stages

Submission Phase: 11/7/2017 – 12/15/2017

During this phase, contestants may complete the contest entry from every four hours. For a bonus entry, users may share a photo using the hashtag #PremioGivesBack per the rules stated. 

Winner Selection Phase:

Weekly: One winner will be chosen each week that the contest is live. 

• Week 1: November 7 - November 12. Winner selected by November 13. 
• Week 2: November 13 - November 19. Winner selected by November 20. 
• Week 3: November 20 - November 26. Winner selected by November 27.
• Week 4: November 27 - December 3. Winner selected by December 4. 
• Week 5: December 4 - December 10. Winner selected by December 11.

Grand Prize: One winner will be chosen after the contest ends. Weekly winners will not be eligible to win the grand prize.  

• Selected by December 18. 

During these phases, Premio Foods will select the weekly and grand prize Winners of the Premio Foods Check-Out Hunger Contest based on a random drawing of all qualified entries.

Contest Terms and Conditions

Please read the official rules and regulations below. By entering the Contest, you (“You”) accept these Official Rules.

These are the Official Rules of the Premio Foods Check-Out Hunger Contest. The Contest aims to engage Premio Foods fans and followers with a fun opportunity to win prizes while also supporting the Community FoodBank of New Jersey and raising awareness for the Premio Check-Out Hunger contest.

1. ELIGIBILITY

Entrant must be a legal resident of the fifty (50) United States, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico, who is eighteen (18) or older at the time of entry. Anyone over the age of 18 may enter the Premio Foods Check-Out Hunger Contest, but only fans and followers of the Premio Foods Facebook and Instagram Pages are eligible to win the prize. The following persons are not eligible to enter the Contest: employees and directors of Premio Foods, and people who are involved in any way with the Contest. No purchase is necessary to enter the Contest and no preference will be given due to purchases. By entering, You agree to these Rules and warrant that you are eligible to enter the contest and Your Submission (defined in Section 3 below) complies with these Official Rules.
THE CONTEST IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

2. PROMOTIONAL PERIOD

Submit your Submission between November 7, 2017 at 11:00am EST and December 15, 2017 at 11:59pm EST. The Premio Foods Check-Out Hunger Contest Weekly Winners will be contacted no later the Tuesday following each weekly entry period. The Premio Foods Check-Out Hunger Contest Grand Prize Winner will be contacted no later than December 22, 2017.

3. HOW TO ENTER

To enter the Premio Foods Check-Out Hunger Contest, You must follow the instructions outlined in the Premio Foods Check-Out Hunger Contest section of the Check-Out Hunger contest form and the rules stated in these Official Rules. Your Submission must comply with the requirements set forth in Sections 3 and 4 below. The Entry is free for anyone to enter. To win the Contest, you must be a fan and follower of Premio Foods on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/premiofoods/) and Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/premiofoods/). To enter the Contest, You also must accept these Terms and Conditions and Premio Foods’ Privacy Policy (https://www.premiofoods.com/privacy-policy/).

When you submit (upload) your submission online, the Submission will be viewable to Premio Foods’ employees and people involved in running the Contest. By submitting (uploading) your submission online, you are giving Premio Foods permission to use your name and photo on all digital properties.

Submissions may be disqualified at any time for non-compliance with these Official Rules. Premio Foods makes the final determination as to which Submissions are eligible to take part in this Contest and which Submissions will be considered for the prize. Premio Foods will not notify you of any disqualification or the reasons for such disqualification.

ANY ATTEMPT TO ENTER THE CONTEST EXCEPT AS PROVIDED ABOVE IS VOID.

4. REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES; INDEMNIFICATION

You represent and warrant that: (a) you are eligible to enter the Contest; (b) you have complied and will comply with these Official Rules in connection with your participation in the Premio Foods Check-Out Hunger Contest; your Submission complies with all of the requirements set forth in these Official Rules. You shall indemnify, defend, and hold Premio Foods harmless from any losses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from any third party action asserting a breach by you of any representation, warranty, or obligation in these Official Rules.

5. PRIZES

Weekly Prize: $100 and (1) Premio Prize Pack
Grand Prize: $500 and (1) Premio Prize Pack

The Premio Foods Check-Out Hunger Contest Winner(s) will be contacted by Premio to work out the logistics of the contest prize by the dates identified above.

If the prize is returned as undeliverable, if You reject Your prize or in the event of noncompliance with the Contest Terms and Conditions, such prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected from all remaining eligible entries. Upon prize forfeiture, no compensation will be given.

6. RULES CHANGES

Premio Foods reserves the right to change the contest rules at any time (deadlines, stages, prizes).

All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of you and Premio Foods in connection with this Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the United States of America, without giving effect to the conflict of laws rules thereof, and all proceedings shall take place exclusively in the United States of America.
