Downtown Baton Rouge at Live After Five
Gates Open at 4:00pm

Crawfish King Cook-Off is a team crawfish boil where 45 teams will compete for the title of Crawfish King. This event will be held in Downtown Baton Rouge at Live After 5 on Friday, May 3, 2019. We are looking forward to a great event this year! The gates will open at 4pm, the cost is $20 in advance or $25 at the door for all you can eat crawfish. 

​Each year this event benefits Junior Achievement and Big Buddy. 


Big Buddy is a local non-profit youth agency that provides role models and quality learning experiences to over 500 disadvantaged youth weekly. For 40 years Big Buddy has provided youth with positive adult role models through mentoring programs, character education and leadership sessions, after school programs, holiday camps, summer enrichment programs, and workforce development programs. 


Junior Achievement is the largest and fastest growing non-profit education organization in the world! Our mission is to educate and inspire young people to value free enterprise, business and economics to improve the quality of their lives. The growth and changes that are currently taking place in the Baton Rouge area provide the opportunity for JA to expand its impact. By partnering business with education, JA recruits volunteers to teach business and economic-oriented programs for students K-12.
