_{OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES FOR HONOR THE ESSENTIALS}

_{Here are the official rules for HONOR THE ESSENTIALS (“Contest”), being conducted by KTHU (hereafter referred to as “Station”) and its owner Results Radio LLC, starting April 20 and ending 11:59PM April 30 2020.}

_{The Station may change the dates and/or terms, conditions, or rules of the Contest without prior notice.  Any material changes to the Contest or its Rules will be broadcast and posted on ChicoThunderHeads.com (hereafter “Station Website”). Station reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or modify the Contest as it deems necessary if it is not capable of completion as planned including, without limitation, as a result of infection by computer virus, tampering, unauthorized intervention, legal challenge or technical failures of any kind.}   

_{The Station is not responsible for technological errors or failures of  phone, text, internet, websites, email, or computer systems related to execution of the Contest.} 

_{WHO CAN ENTER (ELIGIBILITY)}

_{The Contest is open to all US citizens who reside fulltime in Butte County, and who are age 18 years or older  (“Contestant”).}  

_{Current or former employees of Results Radio LLC, their immediate family members (including ex-spouses, parents, grandparents, children, grandchildren, siblings, in-laws), individuals legally residing in the same household as current employees, Company affiliates, agents, successors, assignees, any promotional agency involved with this promotion,  current employees of other Radio stations in California and their family members, are NOT eligible to participate or win.} 

_{Failure to comply with the Rules may result in a Contestant’s disqualification and forfeiture of the Prize. Station, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest, and to disqualify that Contestant from entering or winning future contests.}

_{No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Contest is void where prohibited by law.} 

_{Contestants are required to provide truthful information to the Station on entry and during entire operation of the Contest. Station will disqualify any entry discovered to be based upon false or untruthful information.} 

_{Contestants and Finalists who do not meet this Contest’s Eligibility requirements will be disqualified, and ineligible to become the contest winner.}

_{By entering Contest, Contestants agree to indemnify this Station and Results Radio LLC from and against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from use of the prize or participation in this Contest.}

_{By entering Contest, Contestants, Finalists, and Winners agree to allow use of their entry materials (including submitted image(s),  Name, written material, and Voice) in Station on-air, stream, social media, newsletter, website, or other Station publicity platforms.}  

_{HOW TO ENTER}

_{Listeners of the Station online stream may experience delays of broadcast content, and therefore may not be able to participate in or be disadvantaged in participating in certain contests.} 

_{To enter, Contestant must be nominated by a Station web visitor (“Nominator”) who completes the nomination form in its entirety.  Nominators may opt-in or opt-out to receive Station email newsletters or receive solicitations from Station and/or Station Sponsors.}  

_{Nominators may complete an entry 1 time per valid email address, and 1 time per Household.} 

_{Station Judges will be the sole interpreter of Contest rules.  All decisions by the Station Judges will be final. Entry into this Contest constitutes agreement by Entrant to abide by these rules.}

_{THE PRIZE}

_{The Prize is:  a catered lunch for 10 persons from Logan’s Roadhouse which must be redeemed no later than 12-31-2020}

_{Prize Total Value is  $200.00}  

_{METHOD OF DETERMINING FINALIST(s) OR WINNER(s)}

_{Two (2) Prize Finalsts will be awarded by Station judges based on their collective opinion of factors including, but not limited to, compelling story and essential nature of business. Finalist 1 will be selected April 24 from entries received up until that date, and Finalist 2 will be selected May 1 from entries received from the entire nominating period.}

_{Odds of winning depending on the number of entries received.}

_{WINNER NOTIFICATION AND REDEMPTION OF PRIZE}

_{Station will contact the Finalists  by their published business number on the selection day If a Finalist cannot be contacted after 5 attempts, the Station judges will select an alternate finalist, and continue until contact is successful with an alternate finalist.  When the Finalist confirms they meet Contest Eligibility, they will be confirmed as the Winner.}  

_{Winner must appear and sign required affidavits and releases by mutually agreeable method before May 8 5pm, or the Prize will be forfeited.  Advance appointment at mutually agreed day and time is required.  After signing affidavits and releases, the Prize will be awarded to the Winner within 30 days.}

_{Prize cannot be awarded to third parties on behalf of the Winner.}

_{Prize is non-transferrable and may be substituted for a prize of same or lesser value.}

_{Winner will be required to fill out a W-9 form utilizing their Business Tax ID to claim Prize.}  

_{Taxes are not included. Payment of taxes will be the legal responsibility of Winner.}  

_{Station offices are closed on Legal Holidays, and are closed to the general public during the COVID 19 Shelter in Place situation.  Station offices are:}

_{The Winner will be required to present and report the following during the appointment:}  

_{Current and valid government-issued photo identification
Credentials to prove they are the rightful business manager/owner authorized to act on behalf of the business.
Business W-9 Tax ID information
Any and all info reported on the Content Entry form exactly matching the entry.}

_{Visit the Station website and/or listen for Station updates about the Contest.}
