Vote For your "All Time" Favourite Sand Sculpture!

Each summer since 2007, Saanich Parks, Recreation & Community Services has joined the Cadboro Bay Village Business Improvement Association to host the Cadboro Bay Festival at Gyro Park.  The event features giant works of art created by local, world class sand sculptors.

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, the festival scheduled for August has been postponed until 2021. Since we are unable to host an event this year we thought it would be nice to connect with you to help us look back at sculptures from the past. Please have a look at the pictures below and choose your favourite sculpture.

When you vote, you also have the option of entering to win some terrific prizes provided by our incredible community partners.

CONTEST RULES

This collection of personal information is authorized under the Local Government Act, Community Charter and section 26(c) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. The information collected on the contest entry form will only be used for the purpose of conducting the random prize draw and securely deleted after the contest concludes. Please be aware that information collected (including IP addresses) will be stored on "Short Stack's" servers located outside of Canada. This contest is voluntary and a response is encouraged, not required. Please do not provide any third-party information. You may vote without entering the contest. Participation in the giveaway contest is voluntary and not mandatory. By participating in this contest you agree to and accept the following conditions:

1). By entering this contest I verify that I am over the age of 18 years of age, and a resident within the Greater Victoria CRD Region on Vancouver Island, British Columbia.

2). You must complete the contact form to enter this contest. Partially completed forms are ineligible.

3). All prizes must be accepted as awarded. No substitutions or cash value equivalent is permitted.

4). The winner agrees to pick up the prize package in person from Pepper's Foods located at 3829 Cadboro Bay Rd, Victoria, BC V8N 4G1. The prize package will not be shipped or delivered.

5). The winner of the prize package agrees to have their first name and last name initial  published, online and in-print for promotional and advertising purposes.

6). Saanich Parks, Recreation and Community Services reserves the right to modify the contest rules as required and also to the awarding of prizes at it's sole discretion. All decisions made by Saanich Parks, Recreation and Community Services are final.
