Finding Forever Homes | August 19, 2017

For the 3rd year, NBC12 teams up NBC stations around the country for a nationwide pet adoption drive on Saturday, August 19 that helps find loving homes for animals in need.

Over 50,000 pets found their forever homes in 2016.

This year, NBC12 is working with 10 animal shelters from the area to #ClearTheShelters on August 19.

In 2016, our Clear The Shelters event helped nearly 200 RVA animals find home. 

We can't wait to #ClearTheShelters this year!

Waiving adoption fees. Pets will go home microchipped, spayed or neutered and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations. Adopters also qualify to become clients of the low-cost Susan M. Markel Veterinary Hospital.
