Whether you are looking for a quick bite or a fine dining experience, Downtown Florence’s restaurants are full of flavor and ready to serve you.

The menu changes with the seasons, and features a selection of starters and entrees with both familiar and unexpected ingredients, some of which are from our nearby family farm. Locally and responsibly raised meat, pork and seafood options are prepared on our open wood-fire grille, and are served alongside family-style sides. Located in the historic Kress corner on West Evans and S. Dargan Street, Town Hall also offers an extensive list of American spirits, local beer, fine wines and well balanced cocktails. Town Hall is also home to Downtown Florence’s only rooftop bar, The Dispensary, open daily for cocktails and bar snacks. With incredible downtown views and a great list of hand-crafted cocktails, The Dispensary is a great place to unwind or meet up with friends. You may also find a local beer tasting, home-brew seminar, live music, or even yoga on the roof!

Clay Pot offers a wide variety of specialty coffee drinks made with locally-roasted organic and rainforest coffee beans, organic teas, real fruit smoothies, breakfast items, daily lunch and dinner specials made with local and organic foods, and a variety of delicious desserts. This cozy and eclectic restaurant provides a place to unwind and an atmosphere that feels like stepping into an artist’s studio. In addition to the coffee shop, Clay Pot houses a small personal art studio operated by owner and potter, Peggy Brown, and a small art gallery space with rotating local art exhibitions, all with works for sale! The Clay Pot closes every summer for the owner’s artist sabbatical in July and returns each September.

Enjoy the taste of fresh-brewed coffee, specialty café fare, fine wines, and chocolate at Dolce Vita in Downtown Florence. Recently re-located into a larger space on Restaurant Row, Dolce Vita has expanded its menu offerings to include artisan flatbread pizzas and specialty sandwiches during the lunch hour. Stop by each Wednesday for Wine Down Wednesdays with drink specials and live music. Don’t forget to check out the rotating local artworks hung throughout the restaurant. Dolce Vita is also home to Flo-Town Cold Brew coffee, the only locally-produced and bottled nitrogen-infused cold brew coffee! Take home a few bottles or a whole growler.

Stop in at Downtown Florence’s only eclectic taqueria and margarita bar, which was opened in April 2017 by three gringos looking to serve up unique tacos and other taqueria-inspired fare. This little gem of a restaurant serves lunch and dinner and is proudly part of the Downcountry Dining Group which also owns Florence favorite, Tubb’s Seafood & Shrimp Co. and Sweet Cupcakes.

Soulé (So- Lay ) coffee + art/music space is a place built for the artists/innovators/visionaries/social leaders/teachers or patrons who feel that Florence is in need of something different. Did we also mention Soule is a coffee and smoothie bar? Stop in for nightly entertainment, open mic nights, or even a salsa class. Need wi-fi? Soulé has some of the fastest around and welcomes patrons to come in, take a seat, and create something new. Try the avocado toasts and maybe even get to meet international jazz artist and owner, Ezra Brown!

Be transported to a different world when you step into The Library. With an eclectic rotating menu inspired by fresh, seasonal ingredients and a signature cocktail menu, The Library is an intimate place to meet friends or bring a date! The Library is also available for private parties and the restaurant opens up to the Renaissance Dining Courtyard—a shared outdoor space for Restaurant Row with monthly live entertainment and a great place to unwind.

Top Hat Special-Teas is a great place to bring friends and family for a truly unique dining experience. Housed in Downtown Florence’s only hot pink building, Top Hat is filled to the brim with teapots and antique treasures to feast your eyes upon while dining. Top Hat is also Florence’s only full-service tea house, serving daily high tea and all of the traditional accompanying delights. Lunch is served daily with whimsical (and tasty) specials, and be sure to try the scones with house-made lemon curd and Devonshire cream—and did we mention all of the house-made specialty TEAS?! Top Hat is also available for catering and private parties.

Wholly Smokin’ is Downtown Florence’s only BBQ joint, with an expansive menu of pulled pork, chicken, brisket, and don’t forget about those “burnt ends” they are so famous for! What started as a BBQ hobby has turned into one of the most sought after BBQ experiences in the Pee Dee region of South Carolina, and one you don’t want to miss. Wholly Smokin’ is featured on the SC BBQ Trail, USA Today’s 10 Best Pulled Pork BBQ Sandwiches in South Carolina, and Only In Your State’s Top 15 BBQ Joints in South Carolina.
