Entry - Enter the contest by submitting a caption to win the Special Experience, a behind the scenes tour at the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium by the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium and Metro Parks of Tacoma for up to 6 people. Tour the den area and meet an animal up close with their keeper. Watch a training session, special enrichment, or special interaction. Tours are available any day of the week and will depend on zoo keeper availability. The value of the 6 admission tickets and the Special Experience (behind the scenes tour) is $350. Enter by submitting a caption in the online entry form on the BECU Facebook page (www.Facebook.com/BECU). Cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize. No purchase necessary to win and a purchase will not increase odds of winning. . This promotion is sponsored entirely by BECU and Facebook is not a sponsor of, does not endorse, and has no administrative functions relative to this promotion.

Limitations - Only one entry per person (entrants using multiple accounts to enter will be ineligible to win). Must be a legal resident of the United States and 18 years or older, must complete the online entry form as indicated above to enter. Employees or agents of BECU, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising/promotional agencies, vendors, and the members of their immediate families or those persons living in the same household of such individuals are ineligible to enter or win. BECU may at any time, and for any reason, disqualify an entry and remove the entered caption from the contest.  All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited by law.

Winners - One behind the scenes tour for up to 6 people to the Special Experience at the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium will be given to the individual with the most votes for their caption. If caption entry submissions have equal number of votes, the winner will be randomly selected in a drawing. The winner will be selected on 10/19/17 from all entries received on 10/2/17 through 10/18/17 and you need not be present to win. Odds of winning based on the number of entries received. The winner will be notified by e-mail no later than the end of business 10/18/17 and wiill have 48 hours to respond to the message. Date of experience and animal toured will be a mutually agreed upon date and tour between the winner and Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium staff within one year of winning. The Special Experience is an event solely within the control of Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium and subject to safety and other controls developed by Point Defiance Park & Aquarium or its parent organization.  Winners will be required to comply with all terms and conditions for participation in the experience established by the Point Defiance Park & Aquarium in its sole discretion.  This may mean signing a release, assumption of the risk and indemnity agreement with Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium or its parent organization, Metro Parks of Tacoma, in order to participate in the experience.  

Should the winner fail to comply with these requirements or otherwise be unable to accept the prize, the winner will forfeit the prize and it will go to the first selected alternate. For a list of prize winners, mail a self-addressed stamped envelope to BECU, Attn: Molly Andrews, Sponsorship Portfolio Manager, P.O. Box 97050, M/S #1057-1, Seattle, Washington 98124-9750. Any and all taxes assessed on the prize shall be the responsibility of the winner. In the event of non-compliance with these requirements, winner may be disqualified and an alternate winner selected.

Conditions - By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of BECU, which shall be final and binding in all respects. The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, cancel or suspend part or all of this Award should virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the Awards.  Sponsor may prohibit an entrant from participating in the Awards or winning a prize if, in its sole discretion, it determines that said entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Award by cheating, hacking, deception, or other unfair playing practices. In such event, Sponsor shall post a notice on the Website and may award prize in a random drawing from all semi-finalists.  Any votes cast by voting machines or fictitious accounts will be removed.  By participating, entrants acknowledge that BECU is not responsible for the content, design or safety controls governing any experience prizes donated by Metro Parks of Tacoma and hereby release BECU, its respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising/promotional agencies, vendors, and the employees, officers, directors and agents of any of the above organizations from any and all liability for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by participation in the Sweepstakes or the acceptance, possession or use/misuse of a prize or participation in any prize-related activities. Where legal, by accepting prize, winner grants permission to use his/her name, address, likeness, photograph and statements by BECU for advertising/publicity purposes without further compensation. By participating, entrants agree to a complete release of Facebook.
