With inflation on the rise, feeding the hungry is the top priority in our local community. That is why WAFB and the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank are asking for your help so we can provide for people in need during this hard time. Help us stock the shelves as we move into fall by donating to WAFB’s “Fall food drive".

The “Fall Food Drive” will run through Hunger Action Month. Each September, people across the country stand together with food pantries, food banks, and the Feeding America Network, fighting to end hunger in their communities.

Your donation will help the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank provide services across 11 different parishes. For more than 30 years, their mission has been to feed the hungry in Baton Rouge and the surrounding area by providing food and educational outreach through faith-based and other community partners. In 2021, the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank distributed over 16.7 million meals to those in need.
