Our community is balancing so many uncertainties caused by COVID-19. WAFB and the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank are asking for your help to make sure food isn't one of them. Help us stock the shelves as we move into fall by donating to WAFB’s “Food For Fall” virtual food drive.

The “Food For Fall” virtual drive will run through Hunger Action Month. Each September, people across the country stand together with food pantries, food banks, and the Feeding America Network, fighting to end hunger in their communities.

Your donation will help the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank provide services across 11 different parishes. For more than 30 years, their mission has been to feed the hungry in Baton Rouge and the surrounding area by providing food and educational outreach through faith-based and other community partners. In 2019, the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank distributed over 11.2 million meals to those in need.

You can get involved by donating time and food to the Greater Baton Rouge Food bank. Click here for more information on volunteering (volunteer.brfoodbank.org/calendar). You can also donate food by dropping it off at the Food Bank or in one of their collection barrels around town (brfoodbank.org/give/food/).

This September help make a difference and donate today.
