Hannah Leo studies Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. As a medical student, she has served as a group facilitator for the Resilience Peer Network by leading support groups for internet-delivered cognitive behavioral therapy for students with mild to moderate anxiety and depression. She also volunteers for the Student Run Homeless Clinic and is currently working on developing a quality improvement project to deliver an original cognitive behavioral therapy curriculum tailored to the needs of interested patients.
Hannah has completed research characterizing a subpopulation of foster youth with medical concerns and has been actively involved with psychiatry education by serving as the co-coordinator of the psychiatry interest group and by helping plan a child and adolescent psychiatry conference. Additionally, Hannah founded the Therapeutic Arts Group in collaboration with UCLArts & Healing to amplify the innate social-emotional benefits of the arts for wellness and healing through educational events and a volunteer program with patients and families.
After completing her undergraduate degree at Yale, Hannah moved to Los Angeles to pursue her dream of becoming a child and adolescent psychiatrist. Of her future, Hannah says, “Understanding the social, political, and economical contexts into which we are born create the fabric of our narratives, I am determined to lead by example, advocate for, and serve women, minorities, and children, especially those in the foster care system. Throughout my career, I am committed to serve”.

Justin Winn is a Nursing major at Salem State University, where he holds a 3.1 GPA. Justin is involved in intramural sports, is a volunteer at Boston Children’s Hospital, and works as a Nursing Assistant at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Katie holds a 3.7 GPA at Springfield College, where she majors in Occupational Therapy. Currently, Katie is a leader of the Pre-Camp Program, which takes freshman on a three day voyage into the wilderness to learn about leadership, proactivity in the community, and self-love.

Megan Murphy is a student at the Massachusetts College of Art & Design, where she studies Animation. She is active in fundraising for the Annual Fund through Phonathon to raise scholarships.

Meghan is an English major at Worcester State University, where she holds a GPA of 4.0. During the school year she works as an apparel associate at Dick’s Sporting Goods, and during the summer she works at Breezy Picnic Grounds in Douglas, MA.

Samantha studies Nurse Education at North Shore Community College, where she holds a GPA of 3.5. She currently works at North Shore Medical Center as a certified nursing assistant.
Once Samantha graduates from North Shore Community College, she plans to apply for nursing positions. She’ll be continuing her education by obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.

Tiana is a Nutrition: Dietetics Major at The University of New Hampshire, where she holds a 3.69 GPA. She is a member of the Student Nutrition Association, a student organization that helps coordinate and volunteer at health-related events throughout the year with a goal to educate people about nutrition while also serving the community.
She is also a volunteer at the Fueling Station, which is where snacks are made and provided to student athletes. Fueling Station volunteers also share advice with student athletes about what to consume as a way to benefit their performance. Tiana was recently accepted to be a Nourish UNH nutrition peer educator.
