Winter is a season of striking contrasts. The peaceful white snow accentuates the blackness of the lava fields, a magical work of art. In the evening, suddenly, the darkness of the sky is disturbed by undulating light veils of green, white or red color: the aurora borealis, often visible in cold and clear weather. You can imagine that the snowstorms and strong winds that sometimes sweep the country are fighting a major battle, but that they always lose: after a while, everything becomes calm and peaceful again and the country regains its purity as if it came from reborn.

Experience music, literature, art and design in our many venues, our galleries, and our makeshift creative spaces in old factories around the country.
