OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES & GUIDELINES

Who can enter the contest? 

All AgChoice customer-owners, employees, industry partners, their families and other friends of agriculture may submit photos to the contest. The person who took the photo should be the same person submitting the photo. The photographer/submitter is responsible for obtaining permissions from the photo subjects (people in the photo, owner of property in the photo, etc.). We ask that you limit your entries to three photos per person.

What types of photos should I submit?

Share your best photos of country living and farming, which could include fields, crops, livestock, family, pets, seasonal scenery, events, gardens, wildlife, flowers, equipment and whatever else inspires you, as long as it’s within the AgChoice service territory. Each photo’s file size must be at least 1.0 MB or larger for printing. We can only use photos with horizontal (landscape) orientation, so if you take a photo on your cell phone, make sure you hold your phone sideways. 

What are the prizes for winners?

AgChoice staff will select 12 photos to feature in our 2020 calendar. We will post the top three photos on Facebook and Instagram in mid-late July and allow users to vote for their favorite. We will award the photo with the most likes with a $200 VISA gift card and feature it as our calendar cover photo. Second and third place photos will receive a $150 and $100 VISA gift card, respectively. The other nine finalists will each receive a $50 VISA gift card.

How will I know if I won or not?

After the contest ends and we select our favorites, we will contact the winners personally via the email provided with their photo submission. We typically notify winners two to three weeks after the contest end date (June 30, 2019). We will send your gift card shortly thereafter via FedEx using the address you provided. Our top three winners will receive their gift cards within a few days of when our social media contest ends (late July).

Will AgChoice use my photo anywhere else?

Even if we do not select your photo for our 2020 calendar, AgChoice may still use your photo for other marketing purposes. This may include but is not limited to: social media, presentations, flyers, brochures, magazines, e-newsletters, postcards, banners and office decorations. If a third party requests use of your photo, we will ask your permission first.
